About Me
Joey Dale (Joey Daleboudt) is a Dutch music producer, composer, DJ and entrepreneur with more than a decade of experience in the international music industry.
He first broke onto the global electronic music scene with releases on Revealed Recordings and Spinnin’ Records, becoming known for his high-energy festival sound. His breakout collaboration “Arcadia” with Hardwell became an international success, followed by records including “Déjà Vu” with DVBBS and “Ready For Action” with Alvaro.
Over the years, Joey has released 40+ records through labels including Revealed and Spinnin’, accumulated millions of streams, collaborated with internationally established artists and performed on stages around the world.
In 2017, Joey stepped away from touring and releasing music to explore the industry from a different perspective. During this period, he worked behind the scenes as A&R for Afrojack’s Wall Recordings, gaining further experience in artist development, music production, record labels and the business behind successful releases.
Building an Independent Music Catalogue
Today, Joey combines his experience as an artist with a growing independent music business.
Through his own labels Soul Victory Records and ZODIAQ Records, he has built a catalogue of 100+ independently released tracks spanning Afro House, Tech House, Techno, EDM, ambient and cinematic music.
Rather than focusing solely on traditional artist releases, the catalogue is increasingly built to work across multiple parts of the modern music industry — from streaming and artist releases to sync licensing, content creation and commercial background music.
Sync Licensing & Music for Business
Through Joey Dale Music, selected tracks from the catalogue are available for sync licensing for film, television, advertising, branded content, online video and other visual media.
Joey also provides Music for Business — professionally produced music for boutiques, hotels, cafés, restaurants, retail spaces and other businesses looking for an alternative to generic background-music libraries.
The goal is to create high-quality original music that can live beyond streaming platforms and become part of brands, businesses, films and visual stories.
Sample Packs & Producer Resources
Drawing on more than a decade of professional production experience, Joey creates sample packs and production resources for music producers.
These packs give producers access to professionally designed drums, loops, one-shots, MIDI, presets and other production-ready sounds, built using the same knowledge and techniques behind Joey’s own releases.
The focus is practical: high-quality, usable sounds that help producers create professional records faster.
YouTube & Music Education
Joey also shares his experience through his YouTube channel, combining hands-on music production tutorials with in-depth videos explaining how the music industry actually works.
His videos cover topics including music production, royalties, publishing, Spotify, record deals, copyright, sample clearance, master rights and how artists and songwriters get paid.
Rather than approaching these subjects purely from theory, Joey draws on his own experience as an artist, producer, independent label owner and former A&R to provide practical, real-world education for upcoming artists and producers.

Joey is also the author of The Complete Music Industry Guide, a practical guide designed to help artists, producers and songwriters understand the business behind their music.
The book covers subjects including copyright, royalties, publishing, record labels, streaming, PROs, samples, covers, management, booking and the different ways money flows through the music industry.
Together with his YouTube channel, the book is part of Joey’s broader goal of making music-industry knowledge easier for independent artists and producers to understand and apply.
